Birth: 1994 Bloom: 1996

Ghetto house was influenced by Chicago house and Miami bass, which usually were made with minimum of equipment and maximum of effects. Ghetto house is characterized by typical 4/4 kick with synthesized Roland-808 and 909 drums, sounds of analog synth, and purposely dirty vocal samples.

Nowadays, a number of contemporary artists provoke press and listeners to pay attention to this style. John Roberts was first who recorded one of the best electronic albums in the ghetto house style in 2011. Also, globally popular Nina Kraviz named a single to the debut album as «Ghetto Kraviz», saying that she respects original house music of black musicians.
