Nu Breaks

Nu breaks is a heavy dance style of music that emerged in the late 90s due to a fusion of techno with drum and bass, and some early rave elements.

Birth: 1998 Bloom: 2004 Death: 2006

Nu breaks was headed by musicians and DJs such as British Adam Freeland, Dylan Rhymes, Beber, Freq Nasty, Rennie Pilgrem, and American – BT. They borrowed 2 step breakbeats and horrible effects from drum and bass, soft music flow and mechanic drums from techno, some bells and whistles (literally and figuratively) from the early 90s rave. Freeland is the most famous artist of the nu breaks style. Nu breaks usually is used as soundtracks for action movies and blockbusters in the late 90s – early 00s.
