Twerk
Twerk or twerking is a type of dancing in which an individual, usually a female, dances to music in a sexually provocative manner involving thrusting hip movements and a low squatting stance. Twerk first appeared in the early 90s in some hip-hop styles, but in isolated cases. The style gained the great popularity a few years ago due to scandal videos by Miley Cyrus and Nicki Minaj.

In the modern web-culture twerk turned out to be mostly a meme, causing a lot of jokes, photos, and animations. Only after some time leading hip-hop producers began to focus on creating music exclusively for twerk. Three 6 Mafia was the first who reached a great success of the new trend, his solo projects were known under the name Juicy J. His single «Bandz A Make Her Dance» became one of twerk hymns. But, Major Lazer`s composition «Bubble Butt» is the peak of the twerk style. The creator of the track is the world famous producer Diplo firstly planned to make a parody of that carnal hysteria of American pop-culture. But exaggerated forms and the lack of meaning turned up the 100% trend.
