Hip House
Hip house, also known as house rap, is a musical genre that mixes elements of house music and hip-hop. The style rose to prominence during the 1980s in New York and Chicago.

The track by Jungle Brothers «I`ll House You» was the first hip house composition. This track appeared as the result achieved in collaboration of the New-York house produced Todd Terry with Jungle Brothers. Shortly after the success of the aforementioned track, Chicago artists began to release their own hip house singles. Hip house has never been very popular, but still it can boast by several evergreen hits. For example, hits by Belgian band Tecnhotronic that came on the music scene in the early 90s or Englishman C+C Music Factory.
